Way Overdue

It's been almost 2 years (hanging my head in shame...)  since I last shared any progress on my "Summer In My Garden" by Mirabilia.  (You can read all the details about it here.)

I came across a picture that I had taken of it last summer so I thought it was about time I shared that, along with a recent photo.

This has been sitting in the WIP pile for quite some time, but I think it's about time to bring it out again.  Especially now that summer is officially here.

Have a happy stitching day!

Some Progress

Finally! Some progress has been made since I last posted about Mirabilia's Summer In My Garden back in February.

Since I've been on holidays the past couple of weeks I have made myself sit down and get some stitching done. (I know, it's a hard thing to do when there is so much work to be done! ) Now when I look at this pic and see what I've done so far, I really need to give her a face and finish off that arm :^) (Please ignore the wrinkles.)
This really is a fun stitch... loving the colours! Not sure which one of the other 3 seasons to stitch next...

... well, autumn is just around the corner...

One of Three

Here is one of the three cross stitch pictures that Tracey made for Jody when each of her boys were born.

This one was completed when Owen was born.

Now lets get a little more up close and personal.

"Is It a Fish??"

That was Miss Jody's reply when I showed the girls the progress on my latest piece. Well maybe if you turn is sideways it vaguely resembles a fish :^) Anyone care to wager a guess?...... (You can find a hint if you go back and read one of my previous posts.)

(For those of you who are impatient like me, and don't feel like scrolling back to February 9th to see, here is the answer...)

It's Mirabilia's "Summer In My Garden", stitched in 32 ct. Summer Khaki Lugana. And yes, I am going to stitch all 4 seasons, so I have a long way to go yet! The bright, cheerful colours in this pattern are sure a welcome sight as we get one of the biggest snowfalls we've had here yet this season in just the last couple of days.
Be safe out there everyone!!

Christmas 2016

Christmas 2016 was held at Jody's this year and we were lucky we had good weather for our travel eastbound.  If there is going to be a...
